Meet Mrs. Rossi

Welcome to Kindergarten at Hernando Elementary! My name is Mrs.Shannon Rossi and this is my fourth year teaching kindergarten. I am a 2014 Florida State University graduate with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I have teaching certifications in both early childhood education and exceptional student education. I also have an ESOL endorsement, which enables me to teach children who are speakers of other languages. 

I was born and raised in Citrus county and attended Citrus County Schools. After graduation from FSU, I felt drawn to come give back to the community that gave so much to me! This desire landed me in kindergarten at Hernando Elementary and I could not be any happier. When I'm not in the classroom I love to be enjoying the beautiful waters of the nature coast!

I look forward to getting to know your chlid and your family this year. Kindergarten is a crucial milestone in your child's life. Kindergarten is a year of growing socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.  Your involvement, interest, and enthusiasm will make this year a smooth and exciting transition for your child.
